‘A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.’- Antoine de Saint-Exupery
SKIN is the new Kytchen System designed by C+S Architects and presented by .elmar at the Milan Design Week 2018.
SKIN is a precious scenography for the game of tasting.
SKIN is a rich materiality of decorated ceramics or clay framed by a series of handles made of brass or burnished steel.
SKIN is a hood-lighting shaped like a Venetian lace.
SKIN is made by a series of different sideboards with retractable or sliding doors and interiors in steel or glass, an island where the decoration is designed in continuity with the top and appears when it enlightens itself, a hood-lighting made of brass to vacuum the fumes as well as producing light and sounds, which are switched on with your smartphone.
The hood and the handles create SKIN’s thin structure, where the modular system is enriched by the decorations created by Florim’s ceramics and Brioni’s clay and are flexible to accept a series of other decorations.
